Pack Unity and Balance
Through constant learning and thoughtful leadership
Tinkle Time has recently teamed up with Avril Schryvers, the owner of Canine Adventure Club, to offer off leash pack walks in NW Calgary! The 1 hour walks take place in a private dog park, which means that your dog will only be interacting with other Tinkle Time/Canine Adventure Club clients. All of our pack walk dogs are carefully screened, and matched up with a group that best suits their personality, temperament and energy levels.
Before beginning any walking services we will schedule a complimentary meet & greet with Avril, where she will go over your dog’s history, health and temperament, discuss your specific needs and schedule, and go over her prices and policies.
From the moment your dogs are picked up until they are dropped back off at home, tired and content, their health and safety will be our first priority. Rest assured that your dog is in competent and experienced hands.
Hundreds of pet parents have trusted us to provide safe and fun care for their dogs. We have worked with almost every breed, big and small! We have experience with a wide array of medical concerns, as well as behavioural issues such as leash reactivity, separation anxiety, and resource guarding.
The relationships we form with ourclients and their pets are at the heart of what makes us successful. We recognize that caring for your family pet is a privilege that comes with great responsibility, and we continually strive to offer an experience that promotes their well-being, and your peace of mind.
Meet your Northwest Pack Walk Leader
Hi! My name is Avril Schryvers! Prior to teaming up with Tinkle Time, I lived in Vancouver, where I was a professional dog walker for 10 years. I started up my own company in White Rock almost 6 years ago, which I left to my long time employee when I decided to move to Alberta. I have been in the pet care industry since 2007, and I have worked in boarding
kennels, dog daycares, grooming shops, pet stores, and for two other dog walking companies before starting up two of my own (first in White Rock, and now in Calgary). I also have many years of volunteer experience with the Richmond Animal Protection Society, RAPS Cat Sanctuary, Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary, Cochrane and area Humane Society, Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue as well as Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue (VOKRA), which I was a long term foster for. I am fully trained in pet first aid and CPR through DogSafe, and I have been through the veterinary assistant program at Granville College.
I share my life with my two rescue dogs, Zoe and Denim (both mixed-breed rescues), and the sweetest kitty ever, Blueberry. They are my whole world. I understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your pets in someone else’s hands, because I have been there myself. From that perspective, I model my practices to care for my client’s pets just as I do my own – with my entire heart and soul.
Our one hour off leash group walks take place in Northwest Calgary local parks and trails. They are an excellent way for your pooch to play and socialize with other dogs, within the security of a safe and stable pack environment.
We currently service the following Northwest communities:
– Rocky Ridge
– Royal Oak
– Simon’s Valley
– Nolan Hill
– Arbor Lake
- 1- 2 walks per week $28
- 3-5 walks per week $26
